So, as of late, it appears that all this blog has been is a photo dump. Maybe that's because I have an adorable kid that I can't take enough pictures of. Or maybe it's because I am too lazy to sit and type by the time I have uploaded all those adorable pictures. Or maybe it's both? Yeah, probably both. So, while said adorable child is sleeping and my just as adorable husband is at work, I will type a little about all the excitement that is going on with the Chadwicks.
Let me just start with talking about Hudson, because he is the absolute greatest thing to have ever happened to Nick and I. He is the smiliest, most fun, and happy boy. My favorite thing to do is to get him out of his bed in the mornings and after naps. He sees me and gives me the biggest smile possible from that little mouth of his and nuzzles against my shoulder for 5-10 minutes until he wakes up a little more. It's the greatest. It's a pretty dang good feeling to know that I am the world to that boy. He needs me. And I need him right back. Being his Momma is more rewarding that I ever could have imagined, and it just keeps getting better and better. I'm pretty sure my heart is going to explode at some point with all the love I have for him.
Aside from my clear obsession with my child, I've also started looking for a job again. Haven't landed a part-time night shift position yet which is what I have to have but hopefully something will come up soon! As far has Nick's work goes he has spent time working on base in Salt Lake on orders and then back to his normal job at Heritage.
Nick leaves for San Antonio on September 9th which is coming up way too quick for my taste. We've definitely made sure to treasure the time we've had with him while it's lasted though. Nick will be gone until November 1st. Not too bad and this time will be a whole lot different than last time. He will have his phone (which means texting and face time will most definitely be happening), he has classes Monday-Friday 7-4ish, and then free time after that. If we can gather the funds together Hudson and I are hoping to be able to go down for a visit about halfway through his time down there to break up our time apart. I sure hope it gets to happen!
Other than that, nothing big has happened lately! We have been sending Uncle Taylor a whole bunch of pictures in Virginia and telling him all about how and what Hudson is doing. They won't meet until Hudson is a year and a half old, but I want Taylor to feel like he knows him when they finally do get to meet. I just know they are going to be buddies!
And of course, ya'll knew it was coming, here are a few pictures from the past week!
