Fall has ... Come and gone!

There is no stinkin way I haven't posted on our blog since September. Yikes friends!! Time flies when you're having fun! October and November consisted of a lot of the same-old same-old around here but December was where we really kept busy. We passed all our finals again (phew!!) Only 2 more semesters for the 2 of us! Can't wait!! From there Nick and I decided to make the most of our 4 week break. We spent our time relaxing, working out, cooking, crafting, spending time with family and friends, working, cleaning, and getting ourselves sane before we started up with more insanity starting January 9th. Here is out last few months in pictures, with a few words of course. Heaven knows I love to talk! :)

Nick and I brought in October with a date night with Scotty and Sarah. The boys were out at school while Sarah and I painted pumpkins and made soup for dinner. As for the actual halloween night Nick and I worked and hung out with family that day. I think halloween is going to be a LOT more fun with kiddos. Can't wait!

Just before halloween we went to Lagoon with Nick's dad, sister, Mignonne, and her kids. It was a lot of fun and I didn't even get very motion sick. YAY!

Carved pumpkin tree at Lagoon. So many cute faces!

Nick and I at the Jason Aldean Concert at the beginning of November. We went with a friend from school and her husband. We had so much fun and Jason Aldean was aweseome!

Just before the concert. Didn't notice when I took the picture but looks like I was pretty close to come girls corboy hat! haha

I finally gave up on growing my hair out and went back to the short A-line cut. And I LOVE it!

Pumpkin carving at the Stika's. I think I win for the cutest :)

Double date with Mr. McPherson to Clark Planetarium. Don't those boys just look so great and stylish?

We have spent a lot of time with this guy and love it! we are so lucky to have such good families that we love spending time with.

Chadwick family pictures in November. Turned out pretty stinkin cute.

We put our tree up at the beginning of December. I don't know what it is about putting up a tree but I always feel so grown up putting up our own tree and decorating for Christmas. This year we bought another fresh tree and I made all our ornaments this year. It was a lot of fun to do together. One thing we didn't do together, or ever, was refill the water under the tree. Needless to say, we had a very dead tree by the time we took it down. Lesson learned!

Does this just make your eyes water? OUCH!! Can you believe I asked for this kind of pain for Christmas? Even though it DID hurt a whole bunch I now have eyeliner tatooed and I don't have to color it anymore! Worth it for sure.

Here is Nick helping me make some Christmas treats to bring to our families. We melted Rolos on top of pretzels and put and M&M on top. SO simple and one of my new favorites. Sure loved the help too!

Here are all of girfts for eachother and our families on Christmas eve-eve. Notice my cute decorations? Just sayin :)
On Christmas eve nick and I went to my parents house and hung out with them all day. We ate the delicious ham dinner like we have ever since I can remember. After that we unwrapped some pajamas, watched christmas movies, and all fell asleep. (There was a minor asthma attack on my part which was a little scary but I survived and all is well). we woke up early the next morning and unwrapped more presents, ate breakfast and headed to Tooele to visit Nick's dad's family. We ate lunch there, Headed back to heber and opened presents and ate at his moms. Our christmas was full of family, which is exactly how it should be.
Here is Nick with his favorite Christmas present. A Sig 2220 .9 mm
The other gifts that Nick got was 2 Atlanta hoodies, an Atlanta t-shirt, Call of Duty, headphones, and a gift card to Chilis. I got my eyes tatooed,, a red pea coat, some stuff for my nails, and an Atlanta hoodie. We also bought us a new Kinect on black friday so now I don't have to watch Netflix on my baby Iphone :) Woot!
