Geez! It's been a month since I posted last?? Yikes I'm slacking! This is probably going to be a mass overload of pictures and I'm going off on 2 hours sleep so if this is all a little scrambled and doesn't make sense then it is what it is :)
- Nick and I both finished off our Spring classes the end of April. There was a little drama and cutting it close for me with my Microbiology but I somehow pulled it off. We're both taking summer classes this semester which will keep us super busy as always, but it'll be worth getting done earlier. Nick is getting some math classes done. I'll be taking American Civilization, Med/Surg, and Pharmacology. My clinicals are all at UVRMC this semester which won't be a waste of my time like last semesters clinicals, thank heavens.
- I am absolutely loving my new job at AFH Mom/Baby unit. I'm doing full time nights which is a little hard on my body but as far as the job goes, it's so perfect for me. The people I work with on nights are awesome, I get to take care of new moms and babies, and I cut my commute by a third! I'm still PRN at Heber doing an ER shift or 2 every other weekend just to bring in a little overtime.
- Other than that Nick and I have just been busy with the day to day and trying to give ourselves a few breaks inbetween. Here are a few pictures to look at which will be much more fun that me trying to type out a play-by-play for the past month.

I want to write a little bit about the getaway Nick and I went on. I was so stressed for the weeks leading up to my Microbiology final that that's all I did. I was stressed, on edge, and so up tight I wanted to scream. I told Nick that I had to get away with him for a little while. He got a hold of his mom and set it all up :) We went shopping for summer clothes and found a lot of great stuff. I was suprised at how well he did. We were shopping for HOURS! After we burnt ourselves out from shopping it was time for dinner. He took me to one of my favorites, Pei Wei. So so so yummy. From dinner ir was to a movie. We watched Limitless together at Jordan Commons. Then came the real getaway part of the getaway. We stayed at the Blue Boar for the night. Same room we stayed in the first night of our honeymoon. It was so amazing to just be together, unwind, and relax. We ate breakfast together there and then it was time to head back to reality. It wasn't long and it wasn't much, but it was just what I needed.
Oh, and by the way, I have the greatest husband ever. With me working nights and school or sleep during the day I feel like I've been a total absent wife. He's been such a sweetheart making sure to call me a couple times during my shift, and kiss me before he leaves for work in the morning. I am SUCH a lucky girl.
Hopefully I'll be able to post a little more than once a monh but you know. School. Work. Life. Crazy. I'll work on it :)
